The female nude has not stood for the first time before the lens of Bulgarian photographer Svetlan Simov. In his new series, the artist explores the body as an image of vulnerability and strength, intimacy and presence. With exceptional precision and love, he refines every millimeter of his images, transforming the female body into an absolute masterpiece.
This is Svetlan Simov’s second solo exhibition. He lives in Sofia and works throughout Europe. After twenty years in the boundless world of the darkroom, he boldly declares that a beautiful image requires only two things – Love and Light.
He spent nearly a decade in flight, photographing aviation subjects, with some of his works included in museums in the USA. Among his strongest fields of expression are sports, studio, fashion, portrait, and nude photography. His works have also been published in the prestigious Dutch magazine NUDE.
